Coral Beach Resort Midweek Stableford - Tuesday 26th June 2012

Parvez Ahmad lit up the field in the recent Coral Beach Resorts Midweek 9 Hole Stableford at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club, an extremely consistent and well managed round of 21 points was enough to secure overall victory in a competition where nearly 45 members entered. Ahmad finished strongly with 11 points taken over his final four holes, which actually proved vital as he piped up and coming junior golfer Zubair Bin Idris on a scorecard countback.

Bin Idris still managed to pick up the prize for winning Division 2 and carried on the fine form he has been showing over the last month. Three golfers all vying for the Division 1 prize returned scores of 20 points. Hakeem, Thomson and Plant were then left to see who had retuned the best via countback, it was Abdul Hakeem who proved victorious on this occasion as he walks away with back to back victories in the last 2 events here at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club.
