GESKES TAKES ERL CROWN IN 4 WAY TIE

A truly, gripping tournament where four players shot 37 points to take it to a scorecard play-off for first place. Martin Geskes was the only player, of the four, that shot under his handicap on the back 9 which automatically secured him the top spot. Abdul Moiz Khan is flying in competitions of late, and this ERL monthly stableford was no exception, he secured second spot and a healthy AED200 voucher for being Division B winner, to spend on the ProShop. S.W. Kang and Rory Thompson were unlucky to miss out on any prizes but still shot competitive scores of 37.
With the introduction of a Division A winner, the ERL is a worthwhile competition for all levels, as Roy Holmes will testify to since shooting 34 points to pick up a AED300 voucher, also for the ProShop. Peter Botha also saw, as a low handicapper, reward for competing when he produced a gross 81 to win the best gross of the day prize.
